The wax
Every Ember Noire candle is poured from 100% natural soy wax. No paraffin, no synthetic fragrance. Each one is hand poured in Sydney in small batches.

The flame
The wick
Pure cotton, with no lead or zinc core. A cotton wick burns cleaner and quieter than a cored one, and it is why the flame stays steady instead of guttering. Trim it to 5mm before every burn and the candle will last longer and soot less.

Candles arrive in a reusable amber glass jar. Gift sets ship in a kraft box, and the roller set in a recyclable satchel.

A reusable amber glass jar. When the wax is gone, the jar stays. Wash it out and refill it, or keep it for something else entirely.

Refills are made to fit any standard 300g amber jar. Same wax, same oils, none of the packaging you already have.

Candle labels are not always required to list what is inside. These are the things we leave out, and the ones worth looking for on any label you pick up.

Questions
What wax do you use?
100% natural soy wax. Every candle is hand poured in Sydney in small batches. We do not use paraffin.
Can I refill my candle?
Yes. Our refills are made to fit any standard 300g amber jar, so you can keep the vessel and replace only the wax.
Are your candles vegan?
Yes. Our candles are vegan and never tested on animals.
What size are your candles?
Our standard candle is 300g in a reusable amber glass jar. The Discovery Set contains 100g mini candles.
Do essential oils contain allergens?
Yes, naturally. Essential oils contain compounds such as linalool, limonene, citral, geraniol and eugenol. They occur in the plants themselves. We do not add them, and we do not strip them out either, because removing them would mean reaching for something synthetic instead.
Our candles and mists scent the air around you. Our pulse point rollers go onto skin, so if yours is sensitive or you have reacted to essential oils before, patch test on your inner arm and leave it twenty four hours before using one properly. If you are pregnant or using them with a child, speak to your GP first.
