How it works

Three steps, about two minutes

No melting, no pouring, no waiting for wax to cool on your bench.

Empty

A splash of boiling water loosens the last of the wax. Once it has cooled, wipe the jar out and lift away the old wick tab.

Drop in

The refill arrives already pressed and wicked. Sit it in the jar, centre the wick, press gently to settle it.

Light

Give it half an hour, then burn until the wax pools right to the edge. Trim the wick to 5mm before every burn after that.

Six scents, one jar

The nicest part of refilling is that your candle can change with the season while the jar stays exactly where it lives.

Sonic Dream

Lavender, bergamot, ylang ylang and eucalyptus. For evenings that need to end properly.

Forest Solstice

Eucalyptus, pine, lemon, peppermint and cardamom. Cool, clean and grounding.

Rebel Rose

Rose geranium, mandarin, bergamot and neroli. Floral with a bit of nerve.

Exotic Escape

Ylang ylang, patchouli, jasmine, rose and sandalwood. Warm and deep.

Electric Ember

Sweet orange, cinnamon, cardamom and clove bud. Spiced and warming.

Lemon Twist

Lemon myrtle, mandarin, rosemary and cedarwood. Bright, citrus led and awake.

Will it fit

Will it fit my jar?

If it is an Ember Noire 300g amber glass jar, yes. Every one of them, named or Signature. The refill is pressed to sit inside with room for the wax to pool properly at the edge, which is why it weighs a little less than the original pour. A refill filled to the brim floods the wick and drowns the flame, so we make it slightly smaller on purpose.

One honest note. If your jar has a scent name on the glass, the refill will fit perfectly but the glass will still say what it always said. Most people keep topping up the same scent and never think about it. If you would rather change with the season, the Signature Jar carries our mark and no name, and it arrives with the launch.
