How to Get the Most from Your Candles
Two candles, two rituals. A few simple habits that make every burn better.
First burn — let the wax pool fully
On the very first burn, let your candle run until the wax melts to the edges of the jar — usually 1.5 to 2 hours. This single step prevents tunnelling and ensures every subsequent burn is just as even and fragrant.
Trim the wick before each burn
Keep the wick trimmed to 5mm before relighting. A shorter wick means a cleaner flame, less soot, and a scent that stays true from the first burn to the last.
Light with intention
Candles work best when the moment is deliberate. Light one for the morning, one for the evening. Let the scent tell the room what mood you're setting — calm, energised, warm, or clear.
Store and save the jar
